Your Spring Cleaning Guide

Spring has officially sprung, even though it may not feel like it out here in Colorado. It’s that time of year, time to deep clean, organize, and tackle that to do list. I have created a spring cleaning checklist.


Spring Cleaning Checklist Living + Dining Dust light fixtures and ceiling fans Remove and wash curtains, throw pillows, and blankets Dust and clean blinds Dust shelves, furniture, decor Clean lamps and lampshades Dust electronics, clean remotes Wipe down baseboards Wash windows and screens Vacuum and steam clean floors Sort and donate unneeded books, DVD’s or kids toys

Kitchen Empty drawers and cabinets, wipe down interior Organize and declutter as you out things back Clean and organize pantry Clean oven and stovetop Wipe down microwave Clean and organize fridge and freezer Sanitize counters Wipe down backsplash Sweep and mop Wipe down all appliances

Bathrooms Empty and wipe down all cabinets and drawers Organize cabinets and drawers when refilling Dust light fixtures Clean mirrors Sanitize counters and sinks Clean tub Change shower curtain liner Clean toilet inside and out Sweep and mop Wash bath mats Laundry Room Wipe down washer and dryer Clean and vacuum lint trap Wash inside of washing machine (some washers have a sanitize cycle) Clean behind washer and dryer Organize any cabinets Sweep and mop floors

Bedrooms Clean out dresser, drawers, closet, sort and donate anything you don’t wear or need Clean closet floors and organize clothes Store off-season clothes Wash pillows, duvet, and comforter Dust light fixtures and ceiling fan Wash windows and sills Wash curtains Vacuum and mop floors Shampoo carpets

Pets Wash or replace bedding Empty and clean cages, crates, kennels, aquariums, etc. Wash water and food bowls Throw out old toys Whew! There ya have it, hope this helps make spring cleaning faster and more organized! Dont stress and try to do it all in a day, over the course of a week is perfect!
